Yesterday we prepared a strip (thanks Andrew and Nigel) and provided 4 hours of fun flying for visitors to the fete, in between rain showers that had us scattering for cover.<\/p>\n
Thank you Nigel, Gary, Richard M and Ricardo H, for bringing along your models and flying. We weren’t over-run with spectators but met new potential members and gave folk a glimpse of our hobby.\u00a0 Among those who came along and intoduced themselves was a professional “drone” pilot. He and his partner have an aerial photography business right here in Okehampton. Hopefully we can expand our relationship with them.<\/p>\n
So whilst not as spectacular as the previous weekend it may have been more beneficial for our club in the long term.<\/p>\n
